About Linkwright
Linkwright makes Linkwright for Jira, an Atlassian Forge app that links GitHub activity to Jira issues and always says how current that information is.
Why it exists
The official connectors between Git hosts and Jira are installed on well over a hundred thousand Jira sites, and rated 3.3 and 2.8 out of 5 on the Atlassian Marketplace. Before writing a line of code, I read their negative reviews, one by one: 279 of them. The complaint that comes back most often is not a missing feature. It is that every indicator says connected, nothing gets linked, and nothing says why.
Linkwright is built around that sentence: show, for every repository, when its data was last confirmed, and say plainly when something is wrong.
How it is built
- On Atlassian Forge only. The app runs on Atlassian’s infrastructure; there is no server of mine in between. Details in the security policy.
- Measured, not promised. The numbers on this site come from a real Jira Cloud site, with their date, and what the app does not do yet is written down rather than discovered later: see the limits.
- Small teams first. Free up to 10 users, self-service, made for teams of 20 to 200 people.
